AMS has a wide range of surgical products including tissue adhesives, sutures, haemostats, bone substitutes, internal fixation devices and internal sealants, which it markets under its brands LiquiBand®, RESORBA®, LIQUIBANDFIX8®, and SEAL-G®. LIQUIBANDFIX8® is a safe and effective device used for laparoscopic hernia repair which secures implantable mesh to underlying tissues.

SEAL-G®, our novel internal biological sealant, addresses a large unmet need to reduce leaks in gastrointestinal surgery.

INTEGUSEAL® Microbial Sealant is designed to reduce the risk of surgical site infections by preventing bacteria migration.

The Resorba® Repair & Regenerate product range includes antibiotic-loaded collagen sponges, collagen membranes and cones, oxidised cellulose, synthetic bone substitutes, resorbable screws, and traditional sutures. This diverse portfolio covers tissue healing, cardiovascular, orthopaedic, and dental segments.

Our biosurgical range includes collagens and oxidised cellulose products: KOLLAGEN resorb™, GENTA-COLL® resorb, GENTA-FOIL resorb®, PARASORB®, RESODURA® family and RESORBA® CELL. Antibiotic-loaded collagens combine the benefits of collagen with antibiotic protection.

We also offer two bone graft substitutes of different origins. RESORBA® Synthetic Bone (with MBCP® Technology), a bone graft matrix for bone regeneration and tissue engineering; and RESORBA® Xenogenic Bone Graft which is used in oral surgery for bone regeneration and long-lasting volume stability.

Osteotwin® resorbable interference screw is our solution for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction procedures.

Our extensive range of sutures includes both absorbable and non-absorbable sutures, with mono and multifilament threads, as well as a wide range of needle shapes and sizes. Our brands include: CAPROLON®, GLYCOLON®, MOPYLEN®, and RESOPREN®.

Our advanced wound care platform technologies include alginates, foams, fibres, collagens, hydrogels and hydrocolloids. We are also able to add antimicrobials, such as silver and PHMB, to our platform technologies. We are able to support our partners to access new markets through our regulatory expertise.

Unlike many of our competitors, we offer a full design, development, manufacture, and distribution service supported by regulatory, clinical, and marketing professionals. We partner with many of the world’s leading healthcare companies for the supply of their finished packed products. We also supply Bulk Materials to third party converters and partners with their own converting capability.

ActivHeal® is our brand of advanced wound care dressings sold into the NHS in the U.K. In all other markets we work with distributors to support sales. This brand provides a range of high quality ‘good value’ advanced wound care dressings that deliver cost savings to the NHS without compromising clinical outcomes or patient care.
