Frontier Therapeutics manufactures a range of static air filled products to help treat and prevent the occurrence of pressure ulcers e.g. cushions, mattresses, foot protectors. All products are manufactured on site in Tredegar, South Wales.

The core brands are Repose® and Toto®. These products help provide key solutions in addressing the increasing prevalence of avoidable pressure ulcers (and associated increasing spend on treatment).

The Repose products were originally designed by Cardiff & Vale University Health Board with Frontier manufacturing/selling them into UK/International healthcare markets under licence. During that time Frontier further invested (and continues to do so) in the product range (including underlying manufacturing processes) with all intellectual property rights now fully owned by Frontier.

We sell our products directly to customers in the UK, USA and German markets using our own direct sales teams. Customers vary across both community and acute healthcare sectors, and include local authority ‘loan stores’, NHS acute healthcare trusts, private hospital groups, nursing homes and private individuals.

We sell into other international healthcare markets using a network of territory-specific third-party distributors.

The business started trading in 1997 on launch of the Repose® products. The Toto® product was acquired by the business in 2016. Frontier is fully accredited to quality management systems ISO 9001, 13485, 14001 and 45001.
