A briefing from the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health and key Government Healthcare Authorities on healthcare opportunities in this growing market as well as guidance on how companies can expand their presence in the Kingdom and opportunities for collaboration and partnership. The session will be delivered in partnership with the British Embassy in Saudi Arabia and will have a special focus on Digital Health opportunities across the Kingdom.

Speakers:

Professor Steve Field, Special Healthcare Representative to the Kingdom, Royal Wolverhampton NHS

Professor Field holds a number of roles at various organisations including Chair at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, Trustee at Nishkam Healthcare Trust and a Trustee for Pathway Healthcare for Homeless People.

Prior to his role of chair, he was Chief Inspector of General Practice, Primary Medical Services and Integrated Care at the Care Quality Commission (CQC). He has held several board positions in the NHS including, Deputy National Medical Director at NHS England, Regional Postgraduate Dean for NHS West Midlands and Chairman of the NHS Inclusion Health Board at the Department of Health. He also held the position of Chairman of The Royal College of GPs, and has been a faculty member at the Harvard Macy Institute of Harvard University in the USA.

He has been awarded a number of honorary degrees and also holds academic appointments at the University of Birmingham and the University of Warwick.

The unified electronic services platform is National Platform for Health and Insurance Exchange Services launched by the Cooperative Health Insurance Council (CCHI) and the National Center for Health Information (NHIC) and led by the Sehati Company.
