Unlocking AI’s Potential - Challenges with Adoption & Integration

The healthcare industry is witnessing a surge in AI innovations aimed at improving clinical experience, patient flow and patient outcomes. Many of these innovations have hugely transformative potential. However, there remain significant barriers to adoption of such technologies, particularly at scale.

One of those barriers is the lack of integration of such technologies into everyday use in the wider healthcare ecosystem, creating innovation silos and hindering widespread adoption. Fragmented IT systems, limited integration capabilities into existing legacy EHRs, and clinical pathway fragmentation creating clinical risk are just some of the challenges contributing to delays in realising AI’s potential. This panel will explore the real-world practical limitations in AI adoption in healthcare, and discuss potential solutions to overcoming these issues, accelerating integration and delivering the real value of such innovations to patients and clinicians alike.
