2000 years of TENS in 20 minutes: Head, shoulders, knees & toes

Over the 20-minute session, TensCare will be taking you on a journey of the origins of electrotherapy. Back in ancient Rome, Scribonius Largus, used an electrical ray in a footbath to treat gout. Benjamin Franklin used electrical shock to treat a frozen shoulder in 1757, and by the 1800’s Faraday had invented the faradic current generator - which is the basis for most modern muscle stimulators. Fast-forward to now, where pain relief can be at the touch of a button. We’ll explore the future of electrotherapy, and how rapid innovation is driving change in the way we use and understand electrotherapy.

TensCare is proud to present our wide range of products, and how these treat specific ailments across the body, as well as how our new product development is finding new ways to cater to fitness and wellbeing trends in the market. These range from treating arthritis and plantar fasciitis to sports rehabilitation to the reduction of wrinkles.
