QARA Consultant, Andrew Brown, will discuss TensCare’s journey to achieving MDR certification as a UK medical device manufacturer. This will include crucial lessons on how to overcome challenges as well as the future with MDR and latest guidelines on current extension.

Andrew Brown, MA Engineering Science (University of Oxford) has over 25 year’s experience in the medical device industry. Andrew has specialist knowledge of ISO: 13485 and is highly experienced in MDD/MDR, FDA and Health Canada regulations. In 2018, Andrew was shortlisted for the EOA Rising Star of the Year award for his excellent technical and compliance contributions at TensCare. Serving as the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QARA) Manager for 15 years, Andrew now acts as a QARA Consultant.
