MIME Technologies Ltd

Headquartered in Inverness, the Highland capital of Scotland and a Scottish Life Science hub, the MIME Technologies team identified a core gap in the market: that on-scene first response can be better supported in environments remote from professional medical care.

They address this using wireless technologies that capture medical event data on-scene and offer real-time digital communication with ground-based care providers. As their technology developed, they now offer it to several markets, including the aviation and maritime industry (super yachts and commercial shipping).

Their Aiber product is based on five-years of research and development, funded by the RCUK Digital Economy Programme and led by healthcare professionals working with computing scientists at the University of Aberdeen.
