We are the only British manufacturer of Swabs, and we have been supporting governments and customers in the UK and globally throughout the pandemic.

We have reinvested our resources by building 4 new facilities, employing new staff, increasing production capacity, and developing our teams.

MWE not only provides products to the Clinical Industry, but also works closely with Food, Pharma, Forensics, Laboratories, Veterinary, the WHO, and NGOs.

In addition to being the inventors of Transwab (transport swabs), we have successfully developed products that are compatible with culture and molecular processes, across bacteriology and virology.

Our Sigma range of products such as the Transwab, Virocult, VCM, and MM have been used throughout the pandemic as one of the preferred specimen collection media ranges.

All our products are meet manufacturing standards and comply with the CLSI standard M40-A2. 

We also support and work with charities such as the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, GBS Society, and Julia's House Children's Hospice.
