PEP Health is a pioneering digital platform, which uses cutting-edge AI technology to analyse patients’ experience of care.

The PEP Health platform was created specifically to provide a novel patient listening tool, helping healthcare organisations to identify key areas for quality improvement and also areas for celebration.

The technology uses cutting-edge machine-learning technology to analyse patients’ experience of NHS services from millions of public patient comments, providing Trusts with real-time insights which they can use to make a direct impact on the patient experience.

PEP Health was founded by Dr Alex Griffiths and Dr Meghan Leaver. Having spent many years evaluating patient safety and quality improvement interventions globally they became frustrated by the mismatch between the data and what inspectors were finding.

By combining their expertise and skills in quality improvement and data science, Alex and Meghan built a first of its kind, scalable, real-time solution for listening to patients which proved an accurate measure of patient experience.

PEP Health has been selected to take part in the first-ever AWS Healthcare Accelerator in the UK. The programme will support them to scale their operations in the United States. It is also a member of the ABHI US Accelerator programme in partnership with Dell Medical School, Texas.
