The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is delighted to invite businesses from across the UK to submit an expression of interest to participate in a trade mission to Turkey to attend a Healthy Ageing Summit in Istanbul on 26th September. The event will be of interest to healthcare and life sciences companies who are exporting healthy ageing related goods and services.
Who should attend?
Digital health companies, medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies and hospitals and care homes are welcomed to the event. The major Turkish hospitals, universities, medical schools and healthcare companies will be present in the event. DEIK, the high-level commercial diplomacy association of Turkey, will be our partnering for this event and this deliver a wide audience in the Turkish market for participating UK healthcare and life sciences companies.
Why should you join this trade mission?
This summit will be the first Healthy Summit to be held in Turkey and will provide an opportunity for extensive B2B networking. The Turkish healthy ageing market is expanding due to an ageing population and the weakness of preventive healthcare services in the market. This event will position the UK as a leader in the provision of healthy ageing goods and services and facilitate the early establishment of partnerships and identification of export opportunities.
