Speed Plastics, a specialist in high frequency welding, will once again be at MEDICA 2022 to showcase the range of engineering and OEM services they offer healthcare companies.
The engineering company – which has been established for over 25 years – offers bespoke services in high frequency welding and are specialists in fusing materials together through the application of radio frequency.
High Frequency or Radio Frequency welding is the process of fusing materials together by applying radio frequency energy to the joined area. Using this method can result in a welding as strong as the original materials.
With the company’s state-of-the art welding equipment and in-house expertise, they manufacture a number of products for the medical and pharmaceutical industry. These include pressure ulcer mattresses, respirator hoods and isolators, suits and sleeves.
As well as manufacturing their own range of pioneering products, Speed Plastics also offer customers bespoke engineering solutions. They can provide a complete design and development service from concept idea through to the finished commercial product.
Attending MEDICA on the UK Pavilion, Speed Plastics is a proud partner to a number of UK healthcare companies, working as an extension to their in-house capabilities.
The company is experienced in a wide range of manufacturing techniques, including ultrasonic welding, CNC machine cutting, tool making, sewing, silk-screen printers and a roller press to deliver a wide range of services to their customers.
Their broad expertise delivers flexibility and responsiveness to customers’ needs, ensuring lead times are short and products are made to the highest quality.
