Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) will unveil its International Clinical Fellowship Programme (ICFP) and highlight its global partnership offer at the Global Health Exhibition 2025, taking place from 27–30 October in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Trust will exhibit as part of the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) UK Pavilion (Hall 3, Stand L40).
The ICFP is a first-of-its-kind, GMC-certified hands-on training programme for doctors from around the world. Offering one or two years of immersive clinical experience across a wide range of paediatric and adult specialties, the programme enables participants to strengthen their skills, gain international exposure, and contribute to the advancement of healthcare in their home countries.
Alongside the fellowship, GSTT will also promote its expertise in building impactful international partnerships. These collaborations support healthcare organisations worldwide to achieve operational excellence and deliver world-class care. GSTT’s international partnerships offer a comprehensive suite of support, including operational effectiveness, bespoke workforce training, leadership development, peer support and mentoring, and co-branding opportunities. By working closely with partner organisations, GSTT helps optimise clinical governance, transform services, and empower clinicians and healthcare teams through knowledge exchange and professional growth.
Drawing on clinical expertise from five of London’s world-leading hospitals - Evelina London Children’s, Guy’s, Harefield, Royal Brompton, and St Thomas’ - GSTT is internationally recognised for treating the most complex cases in heart and lung care, cancer, surgery, diagnostics, and women’s and children’s health.
The Trust is already collaborating with the Saudi Ministry of Health to share insights and best practice around staff wellbeing, with a pilot programme being implemented to enhance the mental and physical health of the Kingdom’s healthcare workforce. In addition, they are also supporting the Ministry in developing a country-wide medical residencies programme, further strengthening the future of clinical training and healthcare delivery across Saudi Arabia. These partnerships exemplify GSTT’s commitment to supporting international healthcare systems not only through clinical expertise, but also by contributing to sustainable improvements in staff wellbeing and patient care.
From genetics and robotic surgery to artificial intelligence and advanced clinical training, GSTT continues to lead innovation in healthcare delivery. Its clinically led solutions are designed to help healthcare systems strengthen performance, support staff, and deliver world-class patient care.
“Our new International Clinical Fellowship Programme represents an exciting step in global healthcare collaboration,” said Chisola Chitambal, Deputy Head of Commercial Education and Events at GSTT.
“By sharing our expertise and supporting knowledge exchange, we’re helping to build stronger health systems and empower clinicians worldwide.”
