Llusern Scientific has announced it will exhibit at WHX Dubai 2026 as part of the Wales Government pavilion, located at Stand S9.A50.
The Wales-based diagnostics company will use the international event to spotlight the Lodestar UTI testing system, a molecular point-of-care test designed to support rapid diagnosis of Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) in clinical settings.
Unlike traditional laboratory culture methods - which can take 48 hours or more to confirm infection - Lodestar can identify the specific pathogen responsible for a UTI within 35 minutes, enabling clinicians to make informed treatment decisions while the patient is still present.
The system has been developed to support fast-paced and space-limited environments. Portable and compact, Lodestar can be used even in restricted clinical spaces, while remaining simple to operate. The test requires no additional sample preparation and is designed to run without the need for calibration, servicing, or routine maintenance.
By rapidly ruling in or ruling out infection and identifying pathogens at clinically relevant levels, the technology aims to support better clinical decision-making and potentially reduce delays in initiating the most appropriate treatment.

Llusern Scientific will attend WHX Dubai 2026 to build new connections across the Middle East and North Africa, with a focus on meeting distributors who can support regional registration and commercialisation, as well as engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to accelerate adoption in-market.
The company’s primary end users include urologists across both private and public healthcare sectors, reflecting the growing demand for faster, more actionable diagnostics in frontline care.
