DDC has confirmed it will officially launch the Pulpmatic® Flex, a next-generation waste disposal solution, at WHX Dubai 2026, the Middle East’s leading healthcare trade exhibition. The event takes place from 9–12 February 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre and will bring together global healthcare leaders, buyers, and innovators.
The Pulpmatic® Flex has been engineered to help healthcare providers address growing pressures around sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term cost control. The system will be the standout feature on DDC’s stand, underlining the company’s commitment to sustainability by reducing the environmental impact of healthcare operations without compromising clinical performance.
Designed to significantly lower carbon emissions and utility consumption, the Pulpmatic® Flex is powered by patented ClearSense® technology, which intelligently monitors when the maceration chamber is free of pulp and automatically adjusts each cycle to use the optimum amount of water and energy. This ensures consistently high performance while minimising waste and unnecessary resource use.
Unlike conventional macerators that discharge wastewater in sudden bursts, the Pulpmatic® Flex uses a continuous open-flow process, helping to protect drainage systems, reduce infrastructure strain, and support long-term reliability within healthcare facilities.
“The Pulpmatic® Flex represents a major step forward in sustainable waste management for healthcare environments,” said James Smith, Group Sales Director, DDC.
“Healthcare providers are under increasing pressure to cut carbon emissions, manage costs, and maintain the highest standards of infection control. Flex has been engineered specifically to meet those challenges, and WHX Dubai provides the ideal global platform to introduce it to distribution partners and healthcare professionals from across the world.”
Built for demanding clinical settings, the Pulpmatic® Flex also delivers clear operational advantages. Features include smart self-diagnostics to maximise uptime, advanced blockage-prevention technology, contactless operation, and an intuitive 5-inch user interface. In comparative performance testing with ClearSense®, the system can run up to 50% faster while using 63% less water and 73% less energy than existing DDC models and other brands of macerators.
While the Pulpmatic® Flex will headline DDC’s presence at the show, the company will also be showcasing a wider portfolio of infection control technologies. These include the UVMATIC® AirSafe UVC air steriliser and the Panamatic® Midi bedpan washer disinfector, both designed to support smarter, safer, and more efficient clinical environments.
Exhibiting at WHX Dubai 2026 forms a key part of DDC’s wider growth strategy, with a focus on strengthening brand presence, reinforcing relationships with existing global distribution partners, and engaging with new partners across international markets.
WHX Dubai 2026 is expected to attract thousands of healthcare professionals and decision-makers from around the world, cementing its status as one of the most influential events in the global healthcare calendar.
